CommentHe lined himself with such greats like Kennedy, Ghandi, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Rizal, Bonifacio, and Che Guevarra whose lives was cut short by bullets, the end of one's life but the beginning of never ending admirations...a sacrifice that up to now we can't comprehend the profoundness of intentions, all we know is 'freedom', a rubbish word if we can't follow the act and defend it. he was dead because we're weak and afraid. we pushed him...but thanks now he's free, free at last...

Comment: Mabuhay ka Ninoy ! We will never forget your sacrifices for us, Filipinos. We will never forget August 21, 1983. I will never forget him in his bloodied white shirt when I lined up for 4 hours in Santo Domingo church. Thanks also for his equally righteous wife, Tita Cory. Like your national hero husband, you will never be forgotten.

Commentpost your message here: I'm am so proud that a person like Ninoy is a Filipino. And what makes me even more proud is that I'm also an Aquino (tracing my roots, my dad told me that his grandfather and ninoy's, which is Gen. Servillano Aquino, are cousins), a very proud Aquino. What you're doing here Mr. Barredo is great! It's a good thing you came up with this website. I was hoping that some time soon you'll be able to put some video clips about Ninoy. I've been searching for the 10th year anniversary advertisement video clip of ABS-CBN for Ninoy, which I find very good. I hope you can obtain some clips of him. More power and God bless. Keep up the good work.

CommentWe Filipinos should never forget what "ninoy" did. I am appealling to all our countrymen not to put to waste the greatest sacrifice "ninoy" had, to stop too much politics, corruption and think of our country, remember "It's worth dying for" according to "ninoy".

:  He awakened the nationalistic fervor of the Filipinos
CommentI am so glad for finding your website. I was still in the Philippines when he was brutally assassinated and made it appeared it was the already dead (for hours) Galman who did it. Marcos and his cohorts thinking of Filipinos as dumb and stupid is a disrespect. I am saddened that it took Ninoy's life to awakened the dormant nationalistic spirit of the Filipinos who were once fired up by the likes of our propagandistas and our revolutionarios during the fight with the spaniards. Kudos to the webmaster, I just wished there are more photos of Ninoy. Let us not forget what happened, kabayans! So many great Filipinos gave their lives and liberty so that you the next generation of Pinoys will be free.

Comment:  20 years after, let us remember the other heroes.. many of them still seeking justice.. the detainees, the exiles, the millions of Pinoys deprived of realities and truth under an authoritarian regime.. we all were victims.. Thanks to the likes of Ninoy, Ka Pepe Diokno (who suffered and fought just as much), Salonga, Dulag Macling, Evelio Javier and many more.. who were true leaders of the nation.

Comment:  I am deeply moved by the life and experiences of Ninoy from the day he was arrested until his assassination on August 21, 1983, and how I wish it didn't happen so maybe present and future generations will have a better life ahead of them, unlike what we are experiencing right now, so much political rivalries on every directions. And maybe, I firmly believe, if only Ninoy had the chance to become the President, it turned out the other way around, we could have a much better place to live in.
